At some point in time, you may need to contact your landlord over the phone to discuss minor issues with your apartment. When leaving a message it's important to:

1. State the date and time.

2. State your first and last name.

3. State your apartment number or address.

4. State the reason for your call.

5. State when you can be contacted.

6. State your phone number clearly and slowly.

7. Thank the person you are calling for his or her time.
